Perhaps the most important thing to keep in mind when posting on Craigslist is that you need to be able to change IPs as much as possible. If you are just the casual poster and do one or two posts a week then there won’t be a problem. For those who post more than this, you should definitely look into some kind of setup that allows you to change IP. Craigslist offers two kinds of accounts. Standard and phone verified. If you are posting with standard/non-verified accounts you should do at most 10 posts per day per IP. For phone verified accounts you should only do 1 post per day per IP. If you go beyond this it increases the chances of Craigslist putting your accounts on hold. This is the number one reason people find their accounts on hold. The second cause for accounts being placed on hold is people post ads in the incorrect sections in Craigslist. Doing this increases the chances that people will flag your ads as spam. The more times your account post ads that are flagged as spam, the higher the chance your account will be put on hold. Try to post ads in the relevant sections in Craigslist and avoid having ads flagged. This is the second main cause of accounts being put on hold.

Hopefully with these two tips you will be able to avoid having any accounts put on hold. Accounts that are put on hold can never be used again, so do your best to remember these tips.

By doing this you reduce any chance of Craigslist detecting that you are posting the same or similar ads from a specific range of IPs.

Never forget to implement to above technique when posting ads to avoid any chance that your IPs on your proxy server are flagged or blacklisted so as to make posting ads on Craigslist as easy and painless as possible. By taking this precaution, you can make the most of your Craigslist proxy and hopefully generate more traffic.

Ads not going live on Craigslist?  Tried everything and not sure what the problem is?  There are a number of reasons why you might be having problems getting ads to go live on Craigslist.  Here are a few tips to help you out and hopefully get your ads to go live.

Posting ads on Craigslist can be troublesome, but if you follow the above advice it should help you to increase your stick rate.  Never spam Craigslist and only post within their terms and you should find that your ads more often than not do go live.

It isn’t a topic that is discussed often, but by not making sure you are using IPs on your proxy server from different C class IP ranges you are opening the door to be blocked by Craiglsist.

IPs are seperated into four ranges, A B C and D. By using ranges we are able to log network IDs and network activity. Everyone on the internet is assigned an IP which is used to identify them while they are online. Most people know that by going offline and then back online you are able to change your IP, but usually the new IP you are assigned is within the same range. This makes it easy for companies to log your activities, as even though you have changed your IP, it has not been changed to the extent that they are unable to make any connection between your old and new IP. It is more than possible that this is exactly what Craigslist uses as part of their system to filter out spam. If you wish to remain anonymous to Craigslist then C class IP ranges for your proxy server should help you to do so.
