List Proxy HTTPS- How to Find HTTPS Proxy Lists

September 25th, 2009

If you are looking for a list of https proxies, you probably already know how difficult it can be to find a good list. HTTPS proxies are considered the best kind of proxies to use and as a result finding a good and fresh list of proxies can be very time consuming.

The first and probably most common method to find a list of HTTPS proxies is to just Google for it. If you Google for the phrase you will find thousands of sites with lists of proxies. The problem is that these lists are usually very old, don’t work at all or even if they do work they are very, very slow. This makes it almost impossible to find a reliable list of proxies.

The second option on getting a list of working HTTPS proxies is to simply setup your own proxy server. Too hard? You might be surprised as to how EASY and SIMPLE it really is to setup a HTTPS proxy. The advantage of setting up your own proxy server is that you know it works and you can surf the web via your proxy server at lightning speeds. Since you are the only one using it, you have the absolute best proxy server setup available.

HTTPS proxies are great but finding them or a list of working proxies can be very hard. Stop wasting time and setup your own HTTPS proxy server instead. You’ll be amazed at how fast and easy having your own proxy server can be.

Web Based Proxy Server – Why You Shouldn’t Use Web Based Proxies

August 30th, 2009

Finding a web based proxy server online is simple. Just search for the phrase and within seconds you’ll find a site offering a web based proxy. The problem? They are limited in what they can do, they may even reveal your IP online and they are usually as slow as if not slower than dial up modems.

Web based proxies might be free, but the disadvantages of them far outweigh this single benefit. The first problem with web based proxies is that the software used to create them is limited in what content you can view online. What does this mean? Many features such as javascript and cookies are disabled. Some websites require that you have these enabled in order to view the content they have online. With these simple features disabled, you are limited in what websites you can even browse while using a web based proxy.

Beyond being limited in what they can do, web based proxies aren’t secure. While they might allow you to change your IP or hide your identity online, they can be detected as proxies. This means that the IP you use while browsing with a web based proxy is shown as a proxy IP. Web masters typically ban and block IPs that are detected as coming from proxy servers. Again, this leads to web proxies typically being unable to access many websites as their IPs are banned as soon as the proxy flag comes up.

A web based proxy server is free but you will quickly find that being free is far outweighed by how limited and restricted they are. A better solution is to use an elite proxy server which offers 100% anonymity and super fast speeds while surfing the internet.
