Elite Proxy

Do you have several IPs on your elite proxy server that you want to use at once?  Proxies typically come with multiple IPs, but using them at the same time is dependent on your software and not that actual proxy server.  Most software is built to use only one proxy IP at a time.  A simple solution may be to run several instances of the software.  Once you have your software up and running, just double click the icon to launch the program a second time.  With some luck you may find that your computer and the software won’t complain running two or maybe three or more instances of the same program at a single time.  If this is the case then just run as many copies of the program as you need.

However, some people may have multiple different programs that they want to use with their proxy server yet their software doesn’t officially support proxies.  The good news is that there is proxy tunnel software that you can use which will “force” any kind of software through your proxy server.  You can also specify which IP or account the program will use on your proxy, so this means you can assign a different program to different IPs on your server.

You may be lucky enough to find that the different programs all naturally support proxies and you don’t need any third party software.  If this is the case then you don’t have to worry about a thing.  Just setup each program as you would normally and assign different IPs if you want them to use different accounts.  This is the ideal setup but keep in mind that not all software was coded with support for elite proxies in mind.

Looking for HTTP proxies?  Finding proxies online and finding ones that work are two very different problems.  It isn’t hard to find proxies, the problem is finding ones that actually are reliable, anonymous and work for more than one or two days.  If you are looking for proxies, then the best way you can find them is by letting Google do the hard work for you.

The best places to find a HTTP proxy server is on the many proxy forums spread out over the internet.  These websites list new, or apparently new, proxies on a daily basis.  The majority are HTTP and you shouldn’t have any problem finding these forums by just searching for “proxy forum” or some variation in Google.  I’d recommend that you get a few forums as you will find that some may be updated often whereas others are rarely updated at all.Finding these proxies is easy, the problem is actually using them.

Most free HTTP proxies don’t last long, or if they do they aren’t anonymous or reliable.  There isn’t much that you can do about this, since they are free after all.  The best thing I can recommend is that you use a good proxy testing program, Charon comes to mind, to thoroughly test the proxies to weed out the bad ones before you try to use them.  You’ll save yourself A LOT of time by checking the proxies first, as you’ll find many are dead and unresponsive.Also be sure to use only anonymous proxies.
